Digital Champions 

Need help with your computer, phone or device? Or maybe you need some help navigating the online world? Perhaps you know someone that might benefit from a session with one of our friendly Champs?

 

Contact your library to book your one-to-one session for tutorials, help and advice.

 

What is a Digital Champion?

A Digital Champion is someone who helps others with their computer, tablet, phone or any other device they use to connect to the internet.

 

  • Barry Library: Thursdays 11am - 2pm / Fridays 11am - 1pm

  • Cowbridge Library: TBC

  • Dinas Powys Library: Wednesdays 10am - 12pm

  • Llantwit Major Library: Tuesdays 10.30am – 12.30pm

  • Penarth Library: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays 10am – 1pm

  • Rhoose Library: Wednesdays 2pm - 4pm / Fridays 10am - 12pm

  • St Athan Library: Tuesdays 9.30am - 11.30am

  • Sully Library: Thursdays 2pm - 3pm

  • Wenvoe Library: Wednesdays 11am - 12pm

 

Taster Classes

All our Libraries offer adults (2 hours per day) Under 16 (1 hour) free Internet access to enable you to search for information and study online. You just need to be a member of the library.  Library Staff are on hand to assist when using the computers.

You do not necessarily need any firm ideas about your future but it will help you and any advisers you may meet, if you can give some thought to what you want to do.
