Cllr Rhiannon Birch, Vale of Glamorgan Council Cabinet Member for Education, Arts and the Welsh Language said: “I would like to congratulate all young people across the Vale receiving their A and AS Level results.

“Today marks an important milestone for many students, and it is pleasing to see so many achieving strong results. These outcomes reflect the commitment, resilience and determination shown by pupils throughout their studies, and they should take great pride in what they have accomplished.

“Behind every student's success is a network of support, and I would like to thank our teachers, school staff and families for the encouragement, guidance and dedication they continue to provide.

“Whether students are moving on to higher education, training, employment or exploring other opportunities, I wish them the very best as they begin the next chapter of their lives.

“For those who may not have achieved the results they wanted, it is important to remember that there are still a range of pathways available. Advice and support can be accessed through Careers Wales and the Welsh Joint Education Committee to help young people consider their next steps and make informed decisions about the future.”
