Playwork Training

Our qualified playwork tutors can offer training opportunities recognised by Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) including Level One Introduction to Playwork, Level Two Award in Playwork Practice and Level Three Award in Transition to Playwork.

 

Bespoke Training Opportunities

We offer a range of accredited and non-accredited courses to guide you on your playwork journey, including:

  • Safeguarding

  • Paediatric First Aid

  • Manual Handling

  • Outdoor First Aid

  • Food Hygiene

  • Outdoor Play Practice

  • Playwork Skills e.g. Woodcraft, Soil Soup, Knot Workshops, Den Building, Junk Modelling: Ready, Steady, Play!

Are you passionate about giving children and young people opportunities to play? Do you want a role that fits around school or an existing term-time role?

 

Vale Play Team are recruiting playworkers to support play opportunities after school, during the school holidays and on weekends. This is a casual post and the hours are flexible, meaning that you can commit to as many or as few sessions as you choose.

 

You will be part of a dynamic play team that offers bespoke, inclusive play opportunities in various provisions across the Vale. Our play provisions include Playschemes, Registered Holiday Clubs, Play Rangers sessions, Woody Wanderers sessions, Community Events and Family Fun.

 

We are fully inclusive in all that we provide, and our role is to ensure that children living in the Vale of Glamorgan have the best possible opportunities to access high quality play provision.
