National Empty Homes Grant 

Grants of up to £25,000 are available to renovate empty properties to make them safe to live in and improve their energy efficiency.

A recent example of the grant scheme which helped transform an empty property into a modern home in 2025.

The schedule of works included: 

 

  • Replacement of all windows and doors
  • Plumbing (kitchen and bathrooms)
  • External and internal decoration - render/paint/skirting
  • Replacement of balustrade 
  • Electrics
  • Landscaping and site clear
