The Grant Fund has previously been very successful and the last round of applications were awarded to organisations such as Cylch Meithrin, Rhoose Guides, Penmark Village Hall and Vale Surf Club.

This round of applications for the Mayor’s Foundation Grant Fund close on 1 September 2022 and applicants wishing to apply for funding will need to download the application form on the website and return it to TheMayor@valeofglamorgan.gov.uk.

Cllr Susan Lloyd-Selby, Mayor of the Vale of Glamorgan, said: “The past two years have been very challenging for everybody. Community groups, voluntary and charitable organisations have become more important and working harder than ever.

The last round of applications for the fund were hugely successful and I would therefore like to encourage all who are eligible to apply for a share of the fund to help support and enhance their invaluable work.”

Full details about the grant fund and eligibility criteria can be found on the Vale of Glamorgan Council website.
