Jubilee Bank Holiday waste collections

There will be no changes to scheduled black bag, recycling or food waste collections this week. Collections for these types of waste planned for Thursday 02 June and Friday 03 June will go ahead as usual.

    Vale of Glamorgan

It is likely that there will be some localised disruption due to road closures and events being planned to mark the Jubilee. If your black bag, recycling or food waste is not collected please leave this out and our crews will return to affected areas on Saturday 04 June and Sunday 05 June.

Due to significant staffing pressures, there are some delays to our Green Waste collection service. As a result, this service will be suspended from Thursday 02 June to Sunday 05 June. If your green waste is due for collection on one of these days, please do not put it out at the kerbside. If your green waste is currently at the kerbside but has not been collected by Wednesday 01 June please take it back in if you are able to. Our crews will return on your next scheduled collection day.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Throughout June residents will be able to recycle green waste at their local Household Waste Recycling Centre without pre-booking an appointment.

You can follow the latest updates on any changes to our services via our Twitter and Facebook feeds or by signing up to waste collection reminders.
