The PSB brings together senior leaders from public and third sector organisations across the Vale of Glamorgan to work in partnership.

Last week, Lis Burnett, Leader of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, met with PSB colleagues to finalise the new Well-being Plan and goals.

Cllr Burnett said: “This well-being plan sets out the PSB’s objectives and focus over the next five years and is a testament to partnership working across the Vale of Glamorgan.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved in bringing this plan together and committing the time to provide their input.”

PSB LogoThe ambitions and vision for the Vale can be summarised as: ‘Happy and healthy communities working together to create a fair and sustainable Vale for everyone.’

To achieve this vision, the PSB will work to deliver on three key Well-being Objectives:

A more resilient and greener Vale - by understanding and making the changes necessary as individuals, communities, and organisations in response to the climate and nature emergencies.

A more active and healthier Vale - by encouraging and enabling people of all ages to be more active and to promote the benefits of embracing a healthier lifestyle.

A more equitable and connected Vale - by tackling the inequities that exist across the Vale, engaging with our communities and providing better opportunities and support to make a lasting difference.

The PSB will also continue to work on three priority workstreams of responding to climate and nature emergencies, working with people who live in the Vale’s communities that experience the highest levels of deprivation, and becoming an Age Friendly Vale.
