Council Launches New Vale Family Compass Service 

The Vale of Glamorgan Council has announced the launch of The Vale Family Compass, a new and improved way for families across the Vale of Glamorgan to access information, advice, support, and protection.

From Monday 3 November 2025, Vale Family Compass will serve as a single point of access for families seeking help or guidance from the Family Information Service, Families First Advice Line, Team Around the Family, Vale Parenting Service and Intake Team.

Vale Family Compass is designed to help families, parents and carers access help when they need it.

Cllr Eddie Williams, Cabinet Member for Social Care and Health, said: “The Vale Family Compass will make it easier for families to find the right support at the right time.

“By bringing multiple services together under one clear access point, we can respond more quickly, work more efficiently, and deliver better outcomes for children, young people and families across the Vale of Glamorgan.”
