Ysgol Y Deri

The ALN development aims to expand the main site's capacity with a two-story building designed to cater to the specialised needs of the pupils, creating up to 150 pupil places. Notably, the structure incorporates a green roof and green wall, harmonizing with the site's surroundings. The anticipated completion date for the building is in the summer of 2025.

St Richard Gwyn

The faith comprehensive school will get a new four-story building on its current site, replacing the existing structure. The new building will provide an increased capacity of up to 1050 pupils plus there will be the inclusion of a separate Specialist resource base for up to 60 pupils. This sustainable project aims to increase school capacity while minimising the development impact. The modern design prioritises well-lit and inviting spaces for both school and community use, with completion expected in 2025.

Ysgol Iolo

The primary school in Cowbridge is set to gain a new school building on a different site, expanding the local Welsh Medium primary offering from 210 pupils to 420 pupil places, plus nursery that can accommodate up to 96 FTE pupils . The modern facility will feature flexible, accessible spaces for community use, replacing the current Victorian buildings, which face maintenance challenges and limited expansion possibilities.
