Central South Consortium – Joint Education Service Joint Committee Visit Website The Central South Consortium has been established for local authorities to work in partnership for the delivery of Education services on behalf of Bridgend, Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf and the Vale of Glamorgan Councils.

Glamorgan Archives Joint Committee Visit Website The Glamorgan Archives is administered by the Glamorgan Archives Joint Committee (GAJC), a Committee of Councillors’ and co-opted members which meets four times a year. The Committee’s remit is to develop and run a joint archive service for the six local authorities of Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf and the Vale of Glamorgan.
National Joint Committeefor the National Adoption Service and Foster Wales Visit Website The National Adoption Service for Wales was established to deliver and improve adoption services in Wales. In 2024, a National Joint Committee was established to provide oversight on behalf of all 22 local authorities in Wales.
Prosiect Gwyrdd Joint Committee Visit Website Prosiect Gwyrdd is a partnership between, Caerphilly Borough County Council, The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff, Monmouthshire County Council, Newport Council and Vale of Glamorgan Council The combined municipal waste of the five authorities makes up 40% of the total municipal waste of Wales. Prosiect Gwyrdd is committed to looking for the best environmental, cost effective and practical solution for waste after recycling and composting has been maximised in each area.
Shared Regulatory Services Joint Committee View Meetings This Committee focuses on delivering the Environmental Health, Trading Standards and Licensing functions across the Bridgend, Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan areas.
