Romilly Park is a CADW Grade II listed park featuring a bowling green, tennis courts, children's play area, a significant collection of mature trees, and extensive open spaces for recreation. The park offers seasonal interest through its established tree canopy, spring blossom, summer shade, autumn colour, and historic landscape character.

 

Originally constructed on land belonging to the Romilly family in 1898 and fully completed in 1911, the park retains much of its original layout, framework, and historic features. In 1920, the National Eisteddfod of Wales was held within the park near the Gorsedd Circle, which remains a prominent landmark today.
