Victoria Park is a classic historic park tucked away in Cadoxton on the eastern side of Barry.

It offers a unique blend of traditional and modern features and planting within its 6.5 acre grounds. 

 

Victoria Park is a Green Flag park. 

 

Room in the Park Exhibition Space

The ‘Room in the Park’ is an exhibition space and venue for community use. It is open nearly every day of the year from 10.00am – 4.00pm.

 

Currently the venue is being used activities such as book clubs, art classes and exhibitions, but it can be booked by anyone wishing to hold a non-profit event.

Directions

Road: M4 to Junction 33, A4232 to Culverhouse Cross, A4050 to Barry.

 

A4231 to Barry Dock. Continue straight through the roundabout, turn right in the bottom of the dip onto Coldbrook Road East, continue to left hand fork up Church Road to the top of the hill then turn left. (Look for the brown tourist signs).

 

Immediately turn left again and the main gate to the park will be on your right about 150m along Sea View Terrace.

 

Bus: Nearest stop The Royal, Barry Rd, 100m from park. Contact Traveline Wales on 0871 200 22 33 for local routes.

 

Rail: Nearest station is Cadoxton, 150m from park.
