Vale Youth Council

The Vale Youth Council is an open access participation project providing young people from the Vale of Glamorgan aged 11-18 to have their voices heard on council matters.

This project provides young people with a platform to work on the issues that matter to them.  As a youth council member, young people represent their peers and advocate for positive change and children’s rights across the Vale of Glamorgan.  The project provides young people with a space to not only give their input on topics that matter but also to ensure that young people’s thoughts and opinions are raised with the Vale of Glamorgan Council.
