Established in 1999, the Safer Vale Partnership is dedicated to creating a safer Vale of Glamorgan for everyone who lives, works, and visits the area. Our mission is to reduce crime, disorder, and the fear of crime through strong collaboration with statutory, voluntary, and community organisations.
Our diverse partnership includes:
Vale of Glamorgan Council
South Wales Police
National Probation Service
Cardiff and Vale University Health Board
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service
Alongside a wide range of voluntary and community groups
Together, we work to implement effective strategies and deliver initiatives that improve community safety. With support from the Police and Crime Commissioner and Welsh Government funding.

This document outlines the landscape of the Safer Vale Partnership. That is who they are, why they exist, what their vision, mission and priorities are as well as what they have in place to achieve them. These are things that aren't likely to change very much in the next five years and therefore this Strategy Document covers the period 2023-2028.
