The Council Tax Department are working hard to process your correspondence in an efficient and accurate way, balancing our available resources with the amount of contact we receive daily. If you are unhappy with the service you have received, or if you would like to compliment the service you have received you can do so using the link at the bottom of this page.
If you have applied for an exemption or discount and the Council have rejected your application making a complaint will not enable us to amend our decision. You should Appeal the decision by replying to our decision letter or email with documented evidence on why you feel we have made the incorrect decision. Please mark any appeal clearly as an appeal at the top of your correspondence.
If the Council is not provided with the required evidence the decision may remain unchanged. The Council has 2 months to advise you on an appeal decision. If the decision remains unchanged the council will provide you with an appeal form for the Valuation Tribunal for Wales and you have 2 months to make a further appeal to them.
