Winter Services

Information about winter services across the Vale of Glamorgan including gritting, salt containers and ploughing.

 

From October to April each year we provide a highways winter maintenance service. Salting is normally undertaken anytime between 6.30pm and 7.00am outside of peak traffic periods.

Number of Salting Routes: There are 9 dedicated salting routes in the Vale of Glamorgan and one additional weak bridge route.
