Review of Community Arrangements for the Vale of Glamorgan
The Local Democracy and Boundary Commission for Wales are about to conduct a review of the community arrangements for the Vale of Glamorgan. Among the matters the Commission will consider are the boundaries of the current community and community wards of and any consequential changes required to the electoral arrangements of those communities.
Before they begin to formulate their draft proposals, the Commission invite any person or body having an interest in the review to send their initial comments via email to: consultations@boundaries.wales, or in writing to: The Chief Executive, Local Democracy and Boundary Commission for Wales, Hastings House, Fitzalan Court, CARDIFF, CF24 0BL between 01 February 2023 and 28 March 2023.

Boundary Commission for Wales 2023 - Review of Parliamentary Constituencies

The Boundary Commission for Wales has published its Revised Proposals for Wales’ new parliamentary constituencies.
The Revised Proposals report, along with the Assistant Commissioners’ Report can be found on the Commission’s website.
You can also find maps of each proposed constituency and the Commission’s Partners’ Pack on the website.
The publication of the Revised Proposals has triggered the opening of the final 4-week consultation of the 2023 Review and interested parties and the public are encouraged to take advantage of this last opportunity to share their views on the proposals before the Commission develops its final recommendations.
Representations can be sent until 15 November 2022 via the Commission’s consultation portal, by post to Boundary Commission for Wales, Hastings House, Cardiff, CF24 0BL, or by email to bcw@boundaries.wales.
A hard copy of the maps that relate to this review can be viewed at the Civic Offices, Holton Road, Barry and also at Barry and Penarth Library.
