Cleaner, Greener, Connected, and Healthier Neighbourhood Programme

Working with local Housing Managers, Assistants and the Community Investment and Engagement team, the Vale Homes Team work to deliver your Local Neighbourhood Action plans

They aim to help your neighbourhoods become:

  • Better Connected, by helping people get online

  • Cleaner by providing better waste storage and recycling advice and support

  • Greener by working with you to grow food and plant locally

  • Become Healthier by offering health and wellbeing initiatives including access to nutritious food, employment education and training advice, volunteering and physical activities

We will kick start this programme in your local area with the Clean Slate project working with the local community removing excessive waste, unwanted goods and undertaking consultation exercises to see what you would like to see happen in your local areas.

We will recruit local champions and provide a budget of up to £10,000 per area for the local community to spend.

The Connected, Cleaner, Greener and Healthier Neighbourhood Programme is our commitment to you to help deliver changes in your local areas working with you.
