It is important that the data that we hold about our residents is correct and is in line with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
Having up to date data on our systems about our residents is not only a legal requirement but also can aid us in planning for future unforeseen events.
An example might be if our residents have a support need, we could offer them support, if we don’t hold that data it would be difficult to plan and tailor that support for our residents. Another example may be having the correct email address to ensure that our residents get immediate updates as and when changes happen.
Having the right information at the right time is crucial not only to help us plan but also deliver effective services to our residents.
We contacted residents to check if the current data we hold about on the system is correct and whether any additional details such as dates of birth or, extra mobile numbers need adding along with, the residents preferred method of contact for example.
Please be assured that this information will be treated in the strictest confidence and will only be used to plan and help improve services. Vale Homes will not provide this information to third parties.
